Settling In 28 x 38

Some people come to the beach and just plop down.  This lady, however, seemed to take forever to get settled.  The beach assistant had to get her chair and umbrella just right.

I was attracted to the color of her shirt and the interplay of light and shadow.

As usual, I painted out a lot of the background and distractions, focusing on the lady and the assistant primarily.  Trying to depict where the wet sand meets the dry sand was also a little tricky.
