Landscapes

Ritter Creek, oil on canvas, 24 x 30, Kit Miracle

Landscapes have always appealed to me.  It’s difficult to even drive down the road without thinking of how I might portray the scenes before me.  I particularly love the play of light, especially early morning or late evening.  I’m including some city subjects here, too.  As a contemporary impressionist, I focus on creating feelings of atmosphere and interpreting the scenes before me.  I frequently leave out or move items that don’t fit with the composition or subject. Some of these are plein air and are noted.  For more landscapes, see the Travel section. These paintings include oils, acrylics and watercolor.  Sizes, mediums and prices are listed.
