This bright beach scene caught my attention for several reasons.  First, I loved the colors. The contrast of the orange shirt against the blue sky. The pink water wings.  The bright sand.  Then the action of the boy jumping up to the birds.  The little girl’s concentrated squint says it all.  The whole painting is just super striking.
