I love cruising flea markets of all kinds.  This is a large flea market in Grafton, Massachusetts. They’ve very dangerous places for me as I always discover one more item for my prop cupboard.  In this case, I purchased two handmade bird cages which have already appeared in paintings.  I love the colors and chaos, the people of all walks of life, even the occasional pooch.  The red underpainting and the red shirts add to convey the heat of the day.  The framed depicted in the photo is for reference only.  No frame is included with this purchase.
