Farmers Market (Amish)

My love of outdoor markets takes me to many interesting places.  This painting depicts an Amish family selling their produce and homemade wares at the local farmers market.  Even the daughter is selling handmade rag rugs.  In consideration of the Amish who do not like their photos taken, I have opted to treat the subject in a more impressionistic manner and not show specific details of faces.  I think it works.
