As much as I enjoy my own home and garden, I was bitten by the travel bug early. Traveling to other places makes me see the world with new eyes. I often return with a new vision of my own world. Many of these paintings were painted en plein air, or outdoors. Standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon is an awesome feeling. Watching the sun set on the red rocks of Sedona is inspiring. But I also love the seaside or just visiting different cities, large or small. Looking at the paintings brings me back to where and when they were created, what I was feeling and doing at the time.
