Wyoming is such a beautiful state.  This is a typical landscape with the pines next to a stream and the mountains in the background.  The sky in unbelievably blue with white, puffy clouds. This is from a trip we took out West a few years ago.  The location is somewhere after we crossed the Big Horn mountains and before we got to Cody.  I think it’s along the Shoshone River. The painting is done in an impressionistic style with loose brush strokes and many varigated colors.  Such a peaceful subject.  The edges are painted black so it would not necessarily need a frame.
