Oaks in Spring

Description

This is a plein air painting of oaks in spring with an under story of white dogwood trees.  I always love the fresh greens of the new shoots.  As I recall, it was a very breezy day and the easel was actually knocked over by the strong winds.  This landscape has a calm atmosphere and always makes me smile when I see it. Original oil on canvas, 18 x 24.  Impressionistic style.
